Description
TB&hC = "The Boy and his Creatures"
This is the title of the twelve scene story that I'll be posting which was for my class. All scenes have been painted in watercolor.
His rooms looks a lot lighter in color than before. Did the darkness leave with the boy? Did it get trapped in the mirror?
Now, the question is, what happened to the boy?
An ambiguous ending. It's open to your own interpretation as to what happens next (8
Originally, the theme of this story was something more lighthearted, along the lines of the consequences of too much play. It then transformed into this sort of darker story. The theme of the story changed, touching on the loss of reality to the imaginary, becoming an entrapment. However, that's my own interpretation. The story, like any form of art, is always open to another interpretation.
This series also had a lot of story behind the creatures, who and what they are, and all that, but 12 illustrations don't really permit elaboration.
Art-wise, this was fantastic to work on, and it was my first real try at watercolor as a serious medium. I have a lot of thanks due to ~o0yuya0o, ~pentapusoysauce, my tablemates, and other friends who helped a ton with both the story and the art. You guys are amazing 8D
And that's it. Thanks for looking at my final project.
